New Glue Tabs Product for Paintless Dent Repair / Removal (PDR)

We were recently sent some Atlas glue pull tabs to test out in the field and let me tell you, they work awesome. I was very impressed with the face of the tab let alone the unique hex head shaft as well. I have worked with other pdr glue tabs including; Tiddy Tabs, Tomco, Keco and Worth tabs. All very well made tabs but the ease of use and durability says a lot. Atlas tabs don't break pre-maturely and very easy to clean. Unlike other tabs, you have to pick the glue out if you don't clean them right away after a pull. Who has time for that when you are in the middle of an intense repair?

Anyhow, we give the Atlas glue tabs a 2 thumbs up! You can visit AutoLecture.com for purchasing and more info as well.

Dent TIme Greatest Dents (Part 1)

I decided to put together a quick and easy video slide show together. I was looking through my past repairs and thought I would put together some of my favorite pdr dent repairs. Each pdr repair has a little story about it and I learned a ton from each one of these repairs. The ones that look less complex were actually the most challenging and some were definitely as hard as they looked.

Check out our dentrepairsandiego.com site as well as DentTime.com. Take care1

PDR Company In Toronto, Canada Removes Unauthorized PDR Video

Well as expected, the company who illegally used my video footage as their own pdr video, responded and removed it from their website and youtube channel.

I am glad they chose to go about the situation smoothly. That being said, this post is now officially squashed. I appreciate the personal feedback others had given me. Hopefully someone will not be so brave and do something like this again.

Look out for some new and interesting videos coming late December and even better stuff in 2010! Happy Holidays everyone.

Caught Red Handed - Fraud Company Caught Using My Video

Well, this is simply over the top. A so called company posts a pdr video on youtube (dentrepairman.blogspot.com) is pretending they did the work done by myself and my trainees earlier this year.

Talk about stupid. The dent I did was not by any means easy and not hard to miss. So why would anyone claim this was their work besides myself? What a complete IDIOT! Here is my original post The REAL AND ORIGINAL POST in June 26th.

So what am I going to do about it? I will give him 24 hours to remove the video from his channel. If he does not, I will produce the most embarrassing video about fake pdr companies claiming they do original work. My personal opinion is that it;s not worth jeopardizing your own reputation by riding on someone others.

If you don't see the video anymore, then he removed it. If you still do, then you know he really doesn't care and runs his business the same way.

Chad from Japan Comes to Visit (PDR Japan)

One of my good friends from Japan comes to visit who owns and operates www.pdr-japan.com
I only had one day to spend with him because of the holiday of Thanksgiving. We did some filming photo shoots about paintless dent repair training. He plans on giving pdr training classes in Japan and inviting me to instruct them. That would be awesome and I look forward to the near future. Thanks Chad for the quick but fun visit!

4 Week PDR Update - Mitch Hawthorn

Mitch is technically in his second week and doing awesome! My specialty teaching my students is how to be patient and remove dents clean. No pock marks, micro cracks or sanding allowed. Not once has Mitch broke paint or made a dent worse. Here is a photo gallery I started from his first days of paintless dent repair training till current.

4 Week PDR Training Ride a Long - Week 1 Mitch Hawthorn

Lately I have been doing lots of training and it has been hard for me to post often. So when I get a chance, I like to post what I think is important. Especially to those who are interested in pdr training. Again, paintless dent repair / removal training is not easy to learn. And if you don't have the patience in general, then save yourself a lot frustration and don't get into pdr. I don't mean to discourage you but there are too many so called schools out there who promise the world but in the end, say, "you got to practice." But if you leave confused and not making progress, then how can you measure what is right and what is wrong pdr training? This is why I am posting real people with real experiences.

Anyhow, now that I put my two cents in, here is a quick video I did with Mitch Hawthorn who is attending my one on one pdr training. Through out the month you will see updates and his progress. Please email me if you have any questions or simply comment below.

Thanks!
Myke Toledo
