I know a lot of you pdr techs use a 12v light of some sort but here is a simple tip to keep in mind when using power from a late model BMW.
Dan Ontrop, who is a certified master BMW mechanic (who I am training now) explains some simple but important things to keep in mind so you don't drain the car battery.

Those are some good tips. I know because it happened to me when I was first starting out in PDR. Actually it happened on my first real pdr job ever..It's true, draining the battery on one of these cars can mess it up pretty good(especially if you keep trying to start it:0 Anyway I never used another vehicles power source since then, and use my own battery pack for power.
