PDR Paintless Dent Removal/Repair Training Manual Book
Well we just completed the video about what's inside the basic line board manual 101. From tool usage, knock down to the unique ding removal process. You'll appreciate the effort and design layout that helped achieve a helpful guide about the line board and the basic pdr process.
The manual is designed for new and veteran techs who want to expand their knowledge about PDR. We offer the line board technique that gives a different perspective and approach for knocking down, crowns, tool usage, board angle and obviously the dent removal process itself. Using the line board is a whole new way of looking at things and we help open up your knowledge by recognizing the strong benefit of using the lines.
We will be working on the "advanced" line board manual that involves trapped pressure, deep body lines, creases and much more in the future. But for now, watch the highlight video regarding what's inside. We know you'll enjoy this line board manual 101 no matter what your level of experience. Please visit www.autolecture.com for more info and purchasing.

Presentation Means Everything. PDR, Bumper n Wheel Repair Video
I just finished editing this auto reconditioning video for my company Dent Time. I get bored with a plain effect on how our services are performed. Instead I took a different approach. Although some of these ideas are not all mine I must admit. I borrowed some ideas and molded them into mine. I take a lot of classes and put in a lot of time to create the effects and outcome of the finished product.
Some may wonder why I go such great lengths putting into video editing. Well, I'll tell you why. Just as much passion I have for the auto recon industry, I have for the marketing. The future is video and fortunately the future is here! There is no better way to market your own company than the web or now video web marketing.
My goal is to have over 100 different videos about auto reconditioning. Not just ordinary videos but real interesting, entertaining and valuable information that anyone can benefit. Rather it be an inspiration or a learning experience, there will be something for everyone to appreciate.
If I can't get excited about my own company, who else will? I just take an ordinary service and make it very interesting. That's my niche. What's yours?
Anyhow, I invite any visitors who are interested in our services to visit the official website www.denttime.com for more info. Thanks again for checking us out and have a good one!

Dutch Spyker Paintless Dent Repair n Ding Removal - San Diego
We performed this Dutch Spyker a couple of years ago and thought it would be good to show case on the blog. A terrible car to do PDR on. I mean this thing is built from aircraft aluminum, even the connectors and parts are made out of this crazy stuff. The reason being so difficult is due to the heavy memory. When I push on the dent, no budging! I had to use heat to make it even move a little bit. This repair took about 2 1/2 hours. No kidding! Compared to a steel soor this dent would have taken me about 20-30 minutes tops with the crown work. Yes I did say crowns. This dent has a nice eye brow over the low which made the repair even more difficult.
My advide is if you ever get the chance to work on one of these, don't!

Deep Dent Pre-Tutorial Paintless Dent Repair/Removal Training
I created a PDR video that shows the process of me removing a deep dent against the edge. It's pretty broken down and just shows how much was involved. My full featured dvd tutorial of this dent reair will explain the training process with animated diagrams, explanations and types of tools involved. Techniques are also specified. later we will release the trailer so viewers can get a good idea of what is involved.
The dent took nearly 3 hours to complete. Working crowns around the corners are deceiving. The dent was deep. I decided to glue pull to take off the pressure from the outside (trapped crowns) so I could push from behind without jeopardizing the finish. In this video I show you a little surprise during the repair process. Anyways, we hope you enjoyed the video and stay tuned...
For interested folks who would like to schedule for an appointment, please contact 800.420.3368 or visit our main website at DentTime.com

PDR Price Guide Video For Sale - Paintless Dent Repair / Removal
If you are another PDR company and like the idea of our PDR Price Guide Video, then there's no need to try to create something like it for more money and time. You can order your video and have it customized to your liking. Below is a couple videos we did for SOS Dent and Johnny Dents.
Our video was created to educate the public about cost, difficulty types of dents and cut down on price questions over the phone. We even took some steps further and created an animation for a customer to take photos a correct way and email them. This also helps give an accurate quote without asking them to send addtional photos. You can use for your website, Youtube or even pass out as a DVD promo.
We wanted to create a short and simple video presentation that gave a professional impression. The more your customers understand your product, the more they feel comfortable using your service. You can purchase this video online through AutoLecture.com or call us direct for more info at 858.699.054.
Harley Davidson Motorcycle Tank - Paintless Dent Repair Tutorial
Motorcycle Paintless Dent Repair / Removal Training Tutorial (Basic)
Well if you follow my blogs, I try to make things as interesting as possible. I stay pretty busy between running my two companies, training, finding time to post and edit videos. In case you were wondering, I do my own video editing myself. I believe you really have to know a lot about a little. And so I try.
Now about this Harley Davidson (Fat Boy) gas tank dent removal. It's actually a warm up from what's is to come. I will have the full version of this on AutoLecture.com. I will be releasing some DVDs shortly regarding my line board, basic training and other interesting things you PDR techs like. By the way, if you have any suggestions on what type of dents to do, please comment. I'll do my best and try to fulfill your requests regarding PDR.
About the dent. This Harley tank was very challenging. One thing I did not mention was that the frame holding the tank was not bolted. I had one of my other techs holding the frame and he's 6'5" 260lb and it was still moving while I was pushing! I should have filmed that. That might have been even more interesting. So. I used a Ultra Dent Tools 24" double bend soft tip. Used a semi sharp knock down and some patience.
Working on Harley tanks can be very difficult because of the gage of the steel. At times, I could not find my tip when pushing. The metal had very little flex to indicate where the tip of my tool was. I turned by line board way out to make the lines smaller so I can see the slightest pinch when I pushed. Still it was very difficult to identify. For beginners, I don't recommend doing gas tanks right off the bat. Get good at reading your board and mastering precise tool tip location. That way you will have less doubt where your tool tip is at. Tanks like these can hurt your confidence or ego in a hurry!
If you are working in a cold environment, it might be a good idea to heat up the area really warm. The clear coat will less likely spider or crack on you and not to mention it helps with flexibility for the paint and metal. If you are not around any electricity, use a small pocket torch and wave near the surface of the dent. NOT TOO CLOSE! Glue pulling is not an option here. One thing, the clear coat is not as strong. Especially with a painted pinstripe going across the dent. Another reason, the dent was too deep to pull.
The repair took just about over one hour and 45 minutes. Cost was $260.
